ADOPTION/FOSTER CARE REQUIREMENTS
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services sets requirements for becoming a Foster/Adoptive Parent.
"Foster parents must complete First-Aid with rescue breathing and choking and CPR for infants, children, and adults prior to being the only caregiver responsible for a child in foster care. Foster parents must also maintain current First-Aid/CPR certification." Source

Our class meets the CPR and First Aid requirements of Texas Administrative Code §746.1315, and Rule §749.911.
This class must include live hands-on skills training!
